The decision needs more than a price.
For learners weighing vocational courses, practical questions often sit alongside confidence, family commitments and career ambitions. A rushed sales call can move to fees before the learner sees how the course fits her goals.
Hunar wanted a consistent discovery conversation that gave people time to explain themselves. Senior counselors could then focus on learners whose interests, experience and next questions were already understood.
Build confidence before discussing enrollment.
- 01
Understand the learner
Seema speaks in warm conversational Hindi and explores the learner’s interests across Fashion, Food or Beauty. Natural pauses leave room for the caller to explain her goals and experience.
- 02
Make the course relevant
An eight-phase flow moves through discovery, branding, course suggestion, certification benefits and visualization. The agent maintains that sequence when a caller interrupts, so the course recommendation has context.
- 03
Give pricing its place
Course fees are held until the seventh phase, after course value has been explained. The agent acknowledges concerns and returns to the conversation without skipping straight to a price.
- 04
Prepare the human handoff
Seema confirms the WhatsApp number for starter-kit details and enrollment forms. A senior counselor takes the final EMI or full-payment conversation with the learner’s category, skill level and intent captured.
A counselor starts with the learner’s goals.
Across 31,792 calls, the agent completed 8,819 conversations and generated 1,915 qualified outcomes over 251 hours of automated talk time. Of those outcomes, 67 learners were ready to enroll and 1,848 needed a warm follow-up.
Ready-to-enroll learners completed the consultative flow, agreed to the fee structure and requested a WhatsApp enrollment form. For warm leads, the agent recorded the course category, skill level and whether the learner’s intent was business or hobby, giving the next counselor a specific starting point.
The course explanation covered NSDC certification and mentorship before fees entered the conversation. Depending on the course, the flow introduced ₹12,980 or ₹5,900 pricing in the seventh phase. A request for enrollment information then moved to WhatsApp, while the senior counselor kept responsibility for the final payment discussion. The first call prepared that discussion without treating every learner as ready to enroll.
