01 / The challenge

A useful call needs a reliable next step.

Outbound D2C teams have two jobs on the same call: understand the customer’s interest, then record what should happen next. An order also needs a usable delivery address, often spoken across several pieces of information.

Sat Kartar wanted its first conversation to cover qualification and booking while leaving room for customers who needed a human callback. The workflow had to turn spoken delivery details into structured information.

02 / How it works

From a first question to the right outcome.

  1. 01

    Follow the caller’s language

Alka handles the product conversation in Hindi or Hinglish, following the customer’s input. A warm tone and immediate pauses for interruptions give callers room to ask questions and explain their situation.

  2. 02

    Understand the interest

The agent gathers relevant context and responds using the configured product script. Customers who want to speak further with a person can request a callback with the conversation’s context carried forward.

  3. 03

    Check the delivery area

For customers ready to order, a location lookup checks the spoken pincode and confirms the state and area. Spoken Hindi digits become a six-digit query for the lookup tool.

  4. 04

    Capture the booking

The agent collects the house number and landmark before confirming the booking. The campaign records orders transferred, purchases with address captured, and callback requests as distinct outcomes for the team.

03 / The results

167 outcomes the team could act on.

The agent placed 7,861 calls and completed 3,160 conversations over 95 hours of automated talk time. The campaign recorded 135 callback requests, 18 orders booked or transferred, and 14 purchases with address captured.

The two order categories total 32 booked orders. Callback requests remained a separate next step for human follow-up. Another 4,701 dials ended without a completed conversation, so the team could focus on customers who had expressed interest and agreed to continue.

Address capture used a staged pincode and location lookup rather than relying on an unstructured note. The agent confirmed the delivery area before collecting the remaining address details and the landmark. That gave the booking workflow specific fields to carry forward, while the outcome categories kept a request for a later conversation distinct from an order.
